Screen Captures of Fuan 4 DVD set of Archival Videos

Screen captures from the 4 DVD set of videos produced by Soshin heir Genshin Sakai from the 1980's and 1990's.  Available at the Hogaku Journal,  this impressive set of Taizan honkyoku in an archival transfer, edit and design DVD set.   Fuan's playing has a warm and generous spirit,  with excellent sound.  The image quality for the 25 year or so old video material is better than expected.

Many students found Fuan to be a Master of gentle, supportive instruction of the shakuhachi discipline.  Fuan was appointed the 40th kansu (president) of the Myoan Temple Taizan School In Kyoto in October 1976.
